It was valentine's day. And mom had up the valentine quilt, the rug, the heart stencil on the door and the roaring fire in the fireplace so that things were nice and toasty. Also for a valentine gift Maggie and Mitch shared a little stuffed airedale puppy toy! Isn't life just wonderful when you have such a kindly and sweet mom!
This was my latest commission for Maggie and Sue. I really enjoyed going "wild" with some patterns, colors and forms. This is more my impressionist or "folky style" of painting.
